Adhyaya 34 — Madālāsā’s Instruction on Sadācāra (Householder Conduct, Purity, and Daily Rites)
सार्धं न बलिभिः कुर्यान्न च न्यूनैर्न निन्दितैः ।
न सर्वशङ्किभिर्नित्यं न च दैवपरैर्नरैः ॥
sārdhaṃ na balibhiḥ kuryān na ca nyūnair na ninditaiḥ |
na sarvaśaṅkibhir nityaṃ na ca daivaparair naraiḥ ||
Jangan menjalin urusan/kemitraan dengan orang yang sangat berkuasa dan menindas, dengan yang rendah, atau yang tercela; juga jangan selalu dengan orang yang penuh curiga, maupun dengan pria yang hanya bergantung pada nasib.
