मनसा चिन्तयामास प्रसादं पावकस्य च । सच तच्चिन्तितं ज्ञात्वा ध्वजे भूतान्यदेशयत्
manasā cintayāmāsa prasādaṃ pāvakasya ca | sa ca tac-cintitaṃ jñātvā dhvaje bhūtāny adeśayat ||
Vaiśampāyana berkata: Ia merenungkan dalam batin anugerah Pāvaka (Agni). Dan setelah mengetahui maksud yang terlintas itu, ia memerintahkan makhluk-makhluk yang bersemayam pada panji agar bertindak sesuai kehendaknya.
