सर्वपापविशुद्धात्मा स्वर्गलोके महीयते । भरतनन्दन! नरेश्वर! उस सरयूके गोप्रतारतीर्थमें स्नान करके मनुष्य श्रीरामचन्द्रजीकी कृपा और उद्योगसे सब पापोंसे शुद्ध होकर स्वर्गलोकमें सम्मानित होता है ।।
sarvapāpa-viśuddhātmā svargaloke mahīyate | bharatanandana nareśvara, sarayū-gopratāra-tīrthe snātvā manuṣyaḥ śrīrāmacandrajī-kṛpayā ca udyogena ca sarvapāpebhyaḥ śuddhaḥ san svargaloke sammānito bhavati || rāmātīrthe naraḥ snātvā gomatyāṃ kurunandana |

घुलस्त्य उवाच
The verse teaches that moral purification is attainable through sacred bathing at a tīrtha associated with Rāma, and that the fruit (honor in heaven) arises from a combination of divine grace (kṛpā) and personal effort (udyoga), not from passivity alone.
Ghūlastya is describing the merit of specific pilgrimage sites—especially the Gopratāra ford on the Sarayū and a Rāma-associated tīrtha on the Gomati—telling the Kuru king/prince that bathing there cleanses sins and leads to heavenly honor.
