Yudhiṣṭhira’s Rationale for Sending Arjuna and Request to Dhaumya

Educational Q&A

Single-pointed devotion and disciplined residence at a supremely sacred place can concentrate the spiritual benefit of many pilgrimages; steadiness (dhīratā) and sincere tīrtha-oriented practice are emphasized over mere travel.

The speaker recommends that a wise pilgrim stay for one month at Naimiṣa, praising it as a uniquely comprehensive tīrtha where the sanctity of all earthly pilgrimage sites is believed to be present.
