युधिष्ठिरस्य अर्जुनप्रेषण-युक्तिवर्णनम् | Yudhiṣṭhira’s Rationale for Sending Arjuna and Request to Dhaumya
तत्र कूपोदकं कृत्वा तेन स्नात: शुचिस्तथा । पितृन् देवांस्तु संतर्प्य मुक्तपापो दिवं व्रजेत्
tatra kūpodakaṃ kṛtvā tena snātaḥ śucis tathā | pitṝn devāṃs tu saṃtarpya muktapāpo divaṃ vrajet ||
Di sana, setelah menimba air sumur dan mandi dengannya, seseorang menjadi suci. Lalu, dengan mempersembahkan tarpaṇa kepada para leluhur dan para dewa, ia terbebas dari dosa dan mencapai surga.
