ऋतुपर्णस्य विदर्भयात्रा-निश्चयः तथा बाहुकस्य हयपरिक्षा (Ṛtuparṇa’s resolve to go to Vidarbha and Bāhuka’s examination of horses)
यथा च वो न जानीयाद् ब्रुवतो मम शासनात् | पुनरागमनं चैव तथा कार्यमतन्द्रितै:,“किसीको भी यह नहीं मालूम होना चाहिये कि आपलोग मेरी आज्ञासे ये बातें कह रहे हैं। जब कोई उत्तर मिल जाय, तब आप आलस्य छोड़कर पुनः यहाँ तुरंत लौट आवें
yathā ca vo na jānīyād bruvato mama śāsanāt | punarāgamanaṃ caiva tathā kāryam atandritaiḥ ||
Pastikan tak seorang pun mengetahui bahwa kalian mengucapkan kata-kata ini atas perintahku. Dan setelah memperoleh jawaban, tinggalkan kelengahan dan segeralah kembali ke sini tanpa menunda.
