धर्मोड्हमिति भद्र ते जिज्ञासुस्त्वामिहागत: । आनुृशंस्येन तुष्टोडस्मि वरं दास्यामि तेडनघ
yakṣa uvāca | dharmoḍham iti bhadra te jijñāsus tvām ihāgataḥ | ānṛśaṁsyena tuṣṭo ’smi varaṁ dāsyāmi te ’nagha ||
Yakṣa berkata: “Berkah bagimu. Aku adalah Dharma, dan aku datang ke sini untuk menguji serta memahami laku perbuatanmu. Wahai raja tanpa noda, aku berkenan oleh welas asihmu dan pandanganmu yang tak memihak; karena itu aku hendak menganugerahkan kepadamu sebuah anugerah.”
