लक्ष्म्या परमया युक्त पुरन्दरगृहोपमम् । विचित्रैरासनैर्युक्त प्रविवेश जनार्दन:,वह घर इन्द्रभवनके समान उत्तम शोभासे सम्पन्न था। उसमें यथास्थान विचित्र आसन सजाकर रखे गये थे। श्रीकृष्णने उस गृहमें प्रवेश किया
lakṣmyā paramayā yuktaṃ purandaragṛhopamam | vicitrair āsanair yuktaṃ praviveśa janārdanaḥ ||
Kediaman itu dipenuhi kemegahan tertinggi, laksana istana Purandara (Indra). Berbagai tempat duduk tersusun rapi pada tempatnya. Janārdana (Kṛṣṇa) pun memasuki rumah itu.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights that outward order—splendor, proper arrangement, and respectful hospitality—should support righteous purpose. In the Udyoga context of impending war, such decorum frames diplomacy and counsel, reminding that power and wealth are ethically meaningful when aligned with dharma.
The narrator describes a magnificent residence, likened to Indra’s palace, prepared with ornate seats. Kṛṣṇa (Janārdana) enters this well-appointed house, setting the scene for a significant meeting in the lead-up to the Kurukṣetra conflict.
