Kṛṣṇa at Duryodhana’s House: Refusal of Hospitality and Departure to Vidura (कृष्णस्य धार्तराष्ट्रनिवेशनगमनम्)
अरोगान् सर्वसिद्धार्थान क्षिप्रं द्रक्ष्यसि पाण्डवान् | ईश्वरान् सर्वलोकस्य हतामित्रान् श्रिया वृतान्
arogān sarvasiddhārthān kṣipraṁ drakṣyasi pāṇḍavān | īśvarān sarvalokasya hatāmitrān śriyā vṛtān ||
Engkau akan segera melihat para Pāṇḍava—sehat tanpa penyakit, segala tujuan mereka telah tercapai; setelah menumpas musuh-musuh, berhias kemuliaan kerajaan, mereka tegak sebagai penguasa atas seluruh dunia.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse frames rightful sovereignty as the culmination of fulfilled purpose and the removal of hostile forces, emphasizing the classical ideal that royal prosperity (śrī) accompanies successful establishment of rule—implicitly tied to dharma and the restoration of order.
Vaiśampāyana delivers a prophetic assurance: the listener will soon see the Pāṇḍavas restored—healthy, successful in their aims, having defeated their enemies, and installed in supreme rulership with the splendor of kingship.
