Sahadeva and Satyaki on resolve after failed conciliation

Wise counsel requires both deep comprehension and clear expression: Vidura embodies discerning understanding of purpose, while Kṛṣṇa embodies persuasive, dharma-aligned articulation. Together they can redirect a failing enterprise back to the righteous path.
In the Udyoga Parva’s pre-war negotiations and counsel, Nakula praises Vidura and Kṛṣṇa as an ideal pair—one who truly understands the matter and one who can explain and guide—implying that their combined guidance can correct misdirected actions and avert harmful outcomes.
