तदिदं भाषितं वाक््यं तथा च न तथैव तत् । न चैतदेवं द्रष्टव्यमसाध्यमपि किंचन,आपने जो बात कही है, वह ठीक है; परंतु सदा वैसा ही हो, यह नहीं कहा जा सकता। किसी भी कार्यको असाध्य नहीं समझना चाहिये
tad idaṃ bhāṣitaṃ vākyaṃ tathā ca na tathaiva tat | na caitad evaṃ draṣṭavyam asādhyam api kiṃcana ||
Apa yang engkau ucapkan memang masuk akal; namun tidak dapat dipastikan bahwa segala perkara akan selalu terjadi persis demikian. Jangan memandang suatu usaha sebagai mustahil—tiada sesuatu pun yang tak dapat dicapai.
अर्जुन उवाच
Even if advice sounds correct, outcomes are not fixed; therefore one should not label any task as impossible. The verse encourages steadfast effort and a dharmic refusal to surrender to despair.
Arjuna responds to a prior statement in the dialogue, agreeing in principle but qualifying it: circumstances can vary, and one must keep striving rather than assuming failure or impossibility.
