श्रीभगवानुवाच जानाम्येतां महाराज धार्तराष्ट्रस्य पापताम्‌ । अवाच्यास्तु भविष्याम: सर्वलोके महीक्षिताम्‌

Transliteration

śrībhagavān uvāca: jānāmy etāṁ mahārāja dhārtarāṣṭrasya pāpatām | avācyās tu bhaviṣyāmaḥ sarvaloke mahīkṣitām ||

Translation

Sang Bhagavān bersabda: “Wahai raja agung, aku mengetahui kebejatan putra Dhṛtarāṣṭra itu. Namun, bila kita tidak pergi ke sana dan berusaha mengupayakan perdamaian, kita akan menjadi tercela di mata para raja di seluruh dunia.”
