उद्योगपर्व — अध्याय 33: धृतराष्ट्र-विदुर संवादः (विदुरनीतिः)

सुव्याहृतानि सूक्तानि सुकृतानि ततस्तत: । संचिन्वन्‌ धीर आसीत शिलाहारी शिलं यथा

suvyāhṛtāni sūktāni sukṛtāni tatastataḥ | sañcinvan dhīra āsīta śilāhārī śilaṃ yathā ||

Sebagaimana orang yang hidup dari memungut butir-butir gandum di tanah berbatu mengumpulkannya satu per satu, demikian pula orang yang teguh hendaknya terus menghimpun ucapan bijak, petuah luhur, dan perbuatan mulia dari mana pun didapati.
