भीष्म–जामदग्न्यसंवादः (Amba-prasaṅga and Kurukṣetra Dvandva Declaration) / Bhishma–Jamadagnya Dialogue
तस्याहं निशितं भल्ल्लं चिक्षेप भरतर्षभ । तेनास्य धनुष: कोटिं छित्त्वा भूमावपातयम्
tasyāhaṃ niśitaṃ bhallaṃ cikṣepa bharatarṣabha | tenāsya dhanuṣaḥ koṭiṃ chittvā bhūmāv apātayam ||
Lalu, wahai banteng di antara keturunan Bharata, aku melemparkan anak panah bhalla yang tajam kepadanya. Dengan itu kupenggal ujung busurnya dan kubuat ia jatuh ke tanah.
