Amba–Rama–Bhishma Dialogue on Vow and Refuge
अयं गच्छामि कौरव्य कुरुक्षेत्र त्वया सह । भाषितं ते करिष्यामि तत्रागच्छ परंतप,“कुरुनन्दन! यह देखो, मैं तुम्हारे साथ युद्धके लिये कुरक्षेत्रमें चलता हूँ। परंतप! वहीं आओ। मैं तुम्हारा कथन पूरा करूँगा। वहाँ तुम्हारी माता गंगा तुम्हें मेरे हाथसे मरकर सैकड़ों बाणोंसे व्याप्त्और कौओं, कंकों तथा गीधोंका भोजन बना हुआ देखेगी
ayaṃ gacchāmi kauravya kurukṣetraṃ tvayā saha | bhāṣitaṃ te kariṣyāmi tatrāgaccha parantapa ||
Wahai Kauravya, lihatlah: aku pergi ke Kurukshetra bersamamu. Wahai penakluk musuh, datanglah ke sana; di sanalah akan kutunaikan apa yang telah kukatakan kepadamu.
