Bhīṣma’s Appraisal of Pāṇḍava-Alliance Warriors (Śikhaṇḍin, Dhṛṣṭadyumna, and Allied Kings)
ते स्मरन्तश्न संग्रामे चरिष्यन्ति च रुद्रवत् । द्यूतक्रीड़ाके समय द्रौपदीको जो महान् क्लेश दिया गया और पाण्डवोंके प्रति कठोर बातें सुनायी गयीं
te smarantas tu saṅgrāme cariṣyanti ca rudravat | dyūtakrīḍā-kāle draupadyā mahān kleśo yaḥ pradattaḥ pāṇḍavān prati ca kaṭhorāṇi vacāṃsi śrāvitāni tāni sarvāṇi smṛtvā te raṇabhūmau rudrasamaṃ vicariṣyanti |
Mengingat semuanya di tengah pertempuran, mereka akan bergerak laksana Rudra. Mengingat penghinaan besar yang ditimpakan kepada Draupadī pada saat permainan dadu, dan kata-kata keras yang dilontarkan terhadap para Pāṇḍava, mereka akan berkeliaran di medan perang seperti Rudra, menebar pemusnahan.
