एष विक्रान्तयोधी च चित्रयोधी च सड़रे । वीतभीश्वापि ते राजन् शत्रुभि: सह योत्स्यते
eṣa vikrāntayodhī ca citrayodhī ca saṅgare | vītabhīś cāpi te rājan śatrubhiḥ saha yotsyate ||
Bhīṣma berkata: “Ia adalah pejuang yang gagah berani, dan juga petarung dengan kepiawaian yang menakjubkan serta beragam di medan laga. Wahai Raja, tanpa gentar ia akan menghadapi musuh-musuhmu.”
