करोति द्विषतां शोक॑ स जीवति सुजीवितम्‌ । 'युद्धमें अब प्रयत्नपूर्वक डट जाओ। हम तुम्हारी राह देखते हैं। अपने पुरुषत्वका परिचय दो। जो पुरुष शत्रुको अच्छी तरह समझ-बूझकर विशुद्ध पुरुषार्थका आश्रय ले शत्रुओंको शोकमग्न कर देता है, वही श्रेष्ठ जीवन व्यतीत करता है || ६१ ह ।।

Transliteration

karoti dviṣatāṁ śokaṁ sa jīvati sujīvitam | akasmāccaiva te kṛṣṇa khyātaṁ loke mahad yaśaḥ ||

Translation

Sañjaya berkata: “Ia yang menenggelamkan para pembencinya dalam duka, dialah yang sungguh hidup dengan hidup yang baik. Dan, wahai Kṛṣṇa, tiba-tiba saja kemasyhuranmu yang agung telah termasyhur di seluruh dunia.”
