सेनापति-निर्णयः तथा पाण्डवसेनायाः कुरुक्षेत्रगमनम्
Decision on Command and the Pandavas’ March to Kurukshetra
ते शूरा धृतराष्ट्रस्य भीष्मस्य विदुरस्य च । तिष्ठेयु: पाण्डवा: सर्वे हित्वा मानमधश्चरा:
te śūrā dhṛtarāṣṭrasya bhīṣmasya vidurasya ca | tiṣṭheyuḥ pāṇḍavāḥ sarve hitvā mānam adhaścarāḥ ||
Para Pāṇḍava yang gagah itu, bila menanggalkan kesombongan dan hidup dalam kerendahan hati, sanggup berada di bawah wewenang Dhṛtarāṣṭra, Bhīṣma, dan Vidura. Maka demi kebaikanmu, lakukan seperti nasihat mereka: biarkan kerajaan tetap padamu, dan berikan kepada Pāṇḍava hanya lima desa sebagai nafkah.
