न चैष शक्तः पार्थानां यस्त्वमर्थमभीप्ससि । सूतपुत्रो दृढक्रोधो भ्राता दुःशासनश्व ते,“तुम जो कुन्तीके पुत्रोंका धन हड़प लेना चाहते हो, ऐसा करनेकी तुम्हारी शक्ति नहीं है। क्रोधको दृढ़तापूर्वक धारण करनेवाला सूतपुत्र कर्ण तथा तुम्हारा भाई दुःशासन--ये दोनों भी ऐसा करनेमें समर्थ नहीं हैं

na caiṣa śaktaḥ pārthānāṃ yastvam artham abhīpsasi | sūtaputro dṛḍhakrodho bhrātā duḥśāsanaś ca te ||

Engkau ingin merampas harta para putra Pṛthā, tetapi engkau tidak sanggup melakukannya. Bahkan Karṇa—putra kusir, yang murkanya keras tak tergoyahkan—dan saudaramu Duḥśāsana pun tidak mampu menuntaskannya.
