बहुविघ्न: सुरा: काल: काल: कालं॑ नयिष्यति । गर्वितो बलवांश्षापि नहुषो वरसंश्रयात्‌

Transliteration

bahuvighnaḥ surāḥ kālaḥ kālaḥ kālaṁ nayiṣyati | garvito balavānś cāpi nahuṣo varasaṁśrayāt ||

Translation

Wahai para dewa, waktu sarat dengan banyak rintangan. Waktu—ya, Waktu itu sendiri—akan menggiringnya menuju akhir yang telah ditetapkan. Nahūṣa, bersandar pada kekuatan anugerah kalian, telah menjadi kuat dan angkuh; namun Waktu jugalah yang akan menyeretnya ke rahang kematian.
