हन्त यत् ते प्रवक्ष्यामि तच्छुणुष्व समाहित: । ऋषीणां देवतानां च सम्भवं वसुधातले
hanta yat te pravakṣyāmi tac chṛṇuṣva samāhitaḥ | ṛṣīṇāṃ devatānāṃ ca sambhavaṃ vasudhātale ||
Waiśampāyana berkata: “Mari—dengarkan dengan pikiran yang terpusat. Akan kuceritakan dengan jelas dan niat baik tentang penampakan serta asal-usul para resi dan para dewa di muka bumi.”
