स्वर्गारोहणपर्व — तृतीयोऽध्यायः

Indra and Dharma’s Consolation; Celestial Gaṅgā Purification

यत्र ते पुरुषव्याप्रा: शूरा विगतमन्यव: । पाण्डवा धार्तराष्ट्रश्न स्वानि स्थानानि भेजिरे

yatra te puruṣa-vyāprāḥ śūrā vigata-manyavaḥ | pāṇḍavā dhārtarāṣṭrāś ca svāni sthānāni bhejire || tat-paścāt devatābhiḥ parivṛto buddhimān kuru-rājo yudhiṣṭhiraḥ maharṣi-mukhāt sva-stutiṃ śṛṇvan dharmeṇa saha taṃ deśaṃ jagāma yatra te puruṣa-siṃhāḥ śūra-vīrāḥ pāṇḍavāḥ dhṛtarāṣṭra-putrāś ca krodhaṃ tyaktvā ānanda-pūrvakaṃ sva-sva-sthāneṣu vasanti ||

Di sanalah para pahlawan laksana harimau di antara manusia—kini bebas dari amarah—baik para Pāṇḍava maupun putra-putra Dhṛtarāṣṭra, telah menempati kedudukan mereka masing-masing. Setelah itu, Yudhiṣṭhira, raja Kuru yang bijaksana, dikelilingi para dewa dan mendengar pujian para maharsi, pergi bersama Dharma menuju wilayah tempat para kesatria laksana singa itu tinggal dengan sukacita, masing-masing di tempatnya sendiri.
