इदं तृतीयं भ्रातृणामर्थ यत्‌ स्थातुमिच्छसि । विशुद्धोईसि महाभाग सुखी विगतकल्मष:

Transliteration

idaṁ tṛtīyaṁ bhrātṝṇām artha yat sthātum icchasi | viśuddho 'si mahābhāga sukhī vigata-kalmaṣaḥ ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana berkata: “Inilah ujian ketiga, menyangkut kesejahteraan saudara-saudaramu. Karena engkau ingin tetap tinggal (bahkan di neraka) demi mereka, tanpa memedulikan kenyamananmu sendiri, wahai yang amat beruntung, engkau terbukti suci. Engkau bebas dari noda dosa; maka hiduplah tenteram dan berbahagialah.”
