स्त्री-विलापः — गान्धार्याः रणभूमिदर्शनं शापवचनं च

जाने5हमेतदप्येवं चीर्ण चरसि क्षत्रिये | दैवादेव विनश्यन्ति वृष्णयो नात्र संशय:,'क्षत्राणी! मैं जानता हूँ, यह ऐसा ही होनेवाला है। तुम तो किये हुएको ही कर रही हो। इसमें संदेह नहीं कि वृष्णिवंशके यादव दैवसे ही नष्ट होंगे
jāne ’ham etad apy evaṁ cīrṇaṁ carasi kṣatriye | daivād eva vinaśyanti vṛṣṇayo nātra saṁśayaḥ ||
Aku pun mengetahui hal ini—memang akan terjadi demikian. Wahai wanita kṣatriya, engkau hanya menjalankan apa yang telah lebih dahulu ditetapkan. Tiada keraguan: oleh kuasa takdir semata, wangsa Vṛṣṇi akan binasa.
