राजधर्मः—प्रमादवर्जनं, दण्डनीतिः, दुर्बलरक्षणम्

भीष्म उवाच स एवमुक्तो मान्धाता तेनोतथ्येन भारत । कृतवानविशड्कश्न एक: प्राप च मेदिनीम्
bhīṣma uvāca | sa evam ukto māndhātā tenotathyena bhārata | kṛtavān aviśaṅkaḥ sa ekaḥ prāpa ca medinīm |
Bhishma berkata: “Wahai keturunan Bharata, setelah dinasihati demikian oleh Utathya, Raja Māndhātā melaksanakan perintahnya tanpa ragu; dan ia seorang diri meraih kedaulatan tunggal atas seluruh bumi.”
