Shloka 6
अरणीमग्निकामो वा मथ्नाति हृदयं मम । वाचा दुरुक्तं देवर्षे तन्मे दहति नित्यदा,देवर्ष! जैसे अग्निको प्रकट करनेकी इच्छावाला पुरुष अरणीकाष्ठका मन्थन करता है, उसी प्रकार इन कुटुम्बीजनोंका कटुवचन मेरे हृदयको सदा मथता और जलाता रहता है
araṇīm agnikāmo vā mathnāti hṛdayaṃ mama | vācā duruktaṃ devarṣe tan me dahati nityadā ||
Vāyu berkata: “Wahai resi ilahi! Seperti orang yang ingin menyalakan api menggesek batang araṇi, demikianlah kata-kata pedas mereka terus mengaduk hatiku; ucapan yang buruk itu membakarku tanpa henti.”
