Paraśurāma’s origins and the depletion/restoration of kṣatriya lineages
स तेनाकुण्ठधारेण ज्वलितानलवर्चसा । कुठारेणाप्रमेयेण लोकेष्वप्रतिमो5भवत्
sa tenākuṇṭhadhāreṇa jvalitānalavarcāsā | kuṭhāreṇāprameyeṇa lokeṣv apratimo 'bhavat ||
Dengan kapak yang mata bilahnya tak pernah tumpul, menyala laksana cahaya api yang berkobar, ia menjadi tiada banding di segenap alam. Berkat kapak yang tak terukur dan maha-perkasa itu, Paraśurāma meraih kemasyhuran kepahlawanan yang tiada tara di mana-mana.
