विदित्वा भक्तियोगं तु भीष्मस्य पुरुषोत्तम: । सहसोत्थाय संहृष्ठो यानमेवान्वपद्यत,इधर पुरुषोत्तम श्रीकृष्ण भीष्मजीके भक्तियोगको जानकर सहसा उठे और बड़े हर्षके साथ रथपर जा बैठे

vaishampāyana uvāca |

viditvā bhaktiyogaṃ tu bhīṣmasya puruṣottamaḥ |

sahasotthāya saṃhṛṣṭo yānam evānvapadyata ||

Setelah memahami bhakti-yoga Bhīṣma, Sang Puruṣottama segera bangkit dengan sukacita dan seketika menaiki kendaraannya (kereta).
