स राजमार्ग: शुशुभे समलंकृतचत्वर: । यथा चन्द्रोदये राजन् वर्धमानो महोदधि:,राजन! जैसे चन्द्रोदय होनेपर महासागर उमड़ने लगता है, उसी प्रकार जिसके चौराहे खूब सजाये गये थे, वह राजमार्ग मनुष्योंकी उमड़ती हुई भीड़से बड़ी शोभा पा रहा था
sa rājamārgaḥ śuśubhe samalaṅkṛta-catvaraḥ | yathā candrodaye rājan vardhamāno mahodadhiḥ ||
Jalan raya kerajaan itu, dengan perempatan yang dihias megah, tampak berkilau cemerlang. Wahai Raja, sebagaimana samudra agung mengembang saat bulan terbit, demikian pula jalan itu kian bersinar ketika gelombang manusia mengalir melintasinya.
