तस्य चाहमसांनिध्ये श्रुतवानस्मि तं गतम् | स्वजनात् त॑ प्रतीक्षामि पर्जन्यमिव कर्षक:
tasya cāham asānnidhye śrutavān asmi taṃ gatam | svajanāt taṃ pratīkṣāmi parjanyam iva karṣakaḥ |
Dari orang-orangnya sendiri aku mendengar bahwa ia telah pergi jauh dari sini. Karena itu aku menantikan kembalinya, sebagaimana petani menunggu hujan yang menghidupkan.
