गोमत्यास्त्वेष पुलिने त्वददर्शनसमुत्सुक: । आसीनो वर्तयन ब्रह्म ब्राह्मण: संशितव्रत:

Transliteration

gomatyāstv eṣa puline tvad-adarśana-samutsukaḥ | āsīno vartayan brahma brāhmaṇaḥ saṃśita-vrataḥ ||

Translation

Bhishma berkata: “Di tepi berpasir Sungai Gomati duduk seorang brahmana yang teguh dalam tapa dan laku. Sambil melantunkan pengetahuan Weda, ia menanti di sana, rindu akan darshanmu.”
