अध्याय ३५१ — उञ्छवृत्ति-व्रतसिद्धेः मानुषस्य परमगतिः
Sūrya–Nāga Dialogue on the Perfected Gleaner-Ascetic
वेदानावर्तयन् साड्रान् भारतार्थाश्व सर्वश: । तमेकमनसं दान्तं युक्ता वयमुपास्महे
vedān āvartayan sāṅgān bhāratārthāṁś ca sarvaśaḥ | tam ekamanasaṁ dāntaṁ yuktā vayam upāsmahe ||
Vyāsa terus-menerus mengulang pembacaan Veda beserta disiplin pelengkapnya, dan juga menjelaskan dari segala sisi makna Mahābhārata untuk mengajar kami. Kami pun senantiasa waspada dan tertib, melayani guru itu—berpikiran tunggal, menaklukkan indria, dan teguh dalam laku tapa.
