अश्विभ्यां पतये चैव मरुतां पतये तथा । वेदयज्ञाधिपतये वेदाड़पतयेडपि च,वे अश्विनीकुमारोंक पति, मरुदगणोंके पालक, वेद और यज्ञोंके अधिपति तथा वेदांगोंके भी स्वामी हैं। उन्हें प्रणाम करो

aśvibhyāṃ pataye caiva marutāṃ pataye tathā | vedayajñādhipataye vedāṅgapataye 'pi ca ||

Bersujudlah penuh hormat kepada Dia—penguasa para Aśvin, penguasa para Marut, pemegang kedaulatan atas Weda dan yajña, serta tuan atas Vedāṅga. Dengan demikian, engkau menautkan diri pada tatanan suci penopang pengetahuan dan ritual dharma.
