आलोकयजुत्तरपश्चिमेन ददर्श चाप्यद्धुतमुक्तरूपम् । मेरुके शिखरपर एकान्त स्थानमें जाकर नारद मुनिने दो घड़ीतक विश्राम किया। फिर वहाँसे उत्तर-पश्चिमकी ओर दृष्टिपात करनेपर उन्होंने पूर्व-वर्णित एक अद्भुत दृश्य देखा
ālokayaj uttarapaścimena dadarśa cāpy adbhutam uktarūpam |
Nārada berkata: Ketika ia mengarahkan pandangannya ke barat-laut, ia menyaksikan pemandangan menakjubkan, persis seperti yang telah dikisahkan. Setelah mencapai tempat sunyi di puncak Gunung Meru dan beristirahat sejenak, ia menatap dari sana dan melihat suatu visi yang luar biasa.
