Yajña-bhāga-vyavasthā and the Pravṛtti–Nivṛtti Framework (यज्ञभागव्यवस्था तथा प्रवृत्तिनिवृत्तिधर्मविवेचनम्)
एतद् व: सर्वमाख्यातं स्वाध्यायस्य विधिं प्रति । उपकुर्याच्च शिष्याणामेतच्च हृदि वो भवेत्,“यह सब मैंने तुमलोगोंसे स्वाध्यायकी विधि बतायी है। यह तुम्हारे हृदयमें सदा स्मरण रहे; क्योंकि यह शिष्योंका उपकार कर सकती है”
etad vaḥ sarvam ākhyātaṃ svādhyāyasya vidhiṃ prati | upakuryāc ca śiṣyāṇām etac ca hṛdi vo bhavet ||
Mengenai tata cara svādhyāya, semuanya telah kujelaskan kepada kalian dengan tuntas. Biarlah hal ini tertanam teguh di dalam hati kalian, sebab ia menjadi manfaat bagi para murid dan menegakkan disiplin dharma melalui pembelajaran yang benar.
भीष्म उवाच
That the prescribed method of svādhyāya should be learned correctly and kept constantly in mind, because right study and recitation are themselves a form of dharmic service that benefits students and preserves the integrity of learning.
Bhishma concludes a section of instruction by telling his listeners that he has explained the procedure for svādhyāya and urges them to retain it in their hearts, emphasizing its practical value for the welfare and proper formation of disciples.
