Adhyāya 325: Nārada in Śvetadvīpa—Stotra to the Nirguṇa Mahātman
क्रीडन्त्यश्व हसन्त्यश्न गायन्त्यश्वापिता: शुभम्
krīḍanty aśva hasanty aśn gayanty aśvāpītāḥ śubham
Bhīṣma berkata: “Mereka bersuka ria; mereka tertawa; mereka makan; mereka menyanyikan kidung-kidung mujur—setelah meminum persembahan aśva (asvamedha). Ini menampakkan kemakmuran dan keberhasilan upacara; namun jasa sejati bergantung pada niat dan laku yang benar, bukan semata kemeriahan.”
