कर्णनासावनमनं दन्तदृष्टिविरागिता
karṇanāsāvanamanaṃ dantadṛṣṭivirāgitā
Yājñavalkya menjelaskan: kepala sedikit menunduk—telinga dan hidung condong ke bawah—serta pengekangan tanpa nafsu pada pandangan dan gigi; itulah tanda lahiriah dari kerendahan hati, pengendalian diri, dan penarikan indria dari kegelisahan.
याज्ञवल्क्य उवाच
True discipline shows in bodily and sensory restraint: a modest, lowered posture and a detached, controlled gaze and expression indicate humility and mastery over impulses.
