कृष्णश्यावच्छविच्छाय: षण्मासान्मृत्युलक्षणम्‌ । जो काले रंगका होकर भी पीला पड़ने लगे

kṛṣṇaśyāvachavicchāyaḥ ṣaṇmāsān mṛtyulakṣaṇam |

Yājñavalkya bersabda: “Bila rona alami yang gelap atau sawo matang mulai memucat dan menguning, itu dipandang sebagai tanda kematian yang mendekat—orang demikian tak diharapkan hidup melampaui enam bulan. Demikian pula, siapa yang meremehkan para dewa dan memusuhi para brāhmaṇa memikul tanda kebinasaan yang sama.”
