तव नैतद्धि विसदृशं पुत्रस्थाने हि मे भवान् । “वत्स! पहले तुमने मुझे यह शाप दिया था कि “तुम वानर हो जाओ।' तुम्हारे ऐसा कहनेके बाद मैंने भी मत्सरतावश तुम्हें शाप दे दिया, जिससे आजतक तुम स्वर्गमें नहीं जा सके। यह तुम्हारे योग्य कार्य नहीं था; क्योंकि तुम मेरे पुत्रकी जगहपर हो” ।। ३७-३८ $ ।। न्यवर्तयेतां तौ शापावन्योन्येन तदा मुनी,इस प्रकार बातचीत करके उन दोनों ऋषियोंने एक दूसरेके शापको निवृत्त कर दिया। तब नारदजीको देवताके समान तेजस्वी रूपमें देखकर सुकुमारी पराये पतिकी आशडूकासे भाग चली
tava naitaddhi visadṛśaṃ putrasthāne hi me bhavān |
Hal itu sama sekali tidak pantas bagimu, sebab engkau bagiku laksana seorang putra. Demikianlah, setelah berbicara, kedua resi itu saling meniadakan kutuk masing-masing.
