अव्यक्त-प्रबोधः (Awakening to the Unmanifest): The 25th and 26th Principles and Eligibility for Brahma-vidyā
वक्त्राद् भुजाभ्यामूरुभ्यां पदभ्यां चैवाथ जज्षिरे | सृजतः प्रजापतेलॉकानिति धर्मविदो विदु:
vaktrād bhujābhyām ūrubhyāṁ padbhyāṁ caivātha jajñire | sṛjataḥ prajāpate lokān iti dharmavido viduḥ ||
Parāśara berkata: “Para ahli dharma mengetahui bahwa ketika Prajāpati mulai menciptakan dunia-dunia, makhluk-makhluk lahir dari mulut, lengan, paha, dan kaki Sang Pencipta.”
पराशर उवाच
The verse presents social differentiation (linked to mouth, arms, thighs, and feet) as arising from a sacred act of creation by Prajāpati, implying that duties and roles should be aligned with dharma and cosmic order rather than driven by domination or arbitrariness.
Parāśara is explaining a traditional dharma-based account of creation: when Prajāpati created the worlds, beings associated with different bodily sources (mouth, arms, thighs, feet) came into manifestation, a framework often used to discuss the ethical basis of social functions.
