Adhyāya 284: Tapas as a Corrective to Household Attachment

Parāśara’s Instruction

नमोस्तु कृशनासाय कृशाज्ञाय कृशाय च | संदह्ृष्टाय विहृष्ाय नम: किलकिलाय च

namo'stu kṛśanāsāya kṛśājñāya kṛśāya ca | sandahṛṣṭāya vihṛṣṭāya namaḥ kilakilāya ca ||

Salam kepada-Mu, yang berhidung ramping; salam kepada-Mu yang beranggota halus; salam kepada-Mu yang bertubuh lean. Salam kepada-Mu yang menyala oleh sukacita, yang dipenuhi kegirangan, dan yang menjadi ‘kilakilā’—gema tawa yang jernih dan bermain. Kepada-Mu hamba bersujud.
