फिर तो दुन्दुभियाँ, जोर-जोरसे बजनेवाले शंख, ढोल और नगाड़े आदि सहस्रों बाजे बजाये जाने लगे ।। असुराणां तु सर्वेषां स्मृतिलोपो महानभूत् | मायानाशश्व बलवान् क्षणेन समपद्यत,समस्त असुरोंकी स्मरण-शक्तिका बड़ा भारी लोप हो गया। क्षणभरमें उनकी सारी मायाओंका पूर्णरूपसे विनाश हो गया
asurāṇāṃ tu sarveṣāṃ smṛtilopo mahān abhūt | māyānāśaś ca balavān kṣaṇena samapadyata ||
Lalu, di tengah gemuruh ribuan dundubhi, śaṅkha yang ditiup keras, genderang, dan tambur perang, seluruh Asura mengalami lenyapnya daya ingat dan kewaspadaan. Seketika itu juga, seluruh māyā mereka runtuh—hancur tuntas tanpa sisa.
