नारद–असित (देवल) संवादः — भूतप्रभवाप्यय, इन्द्रिय-गुण-विवेक, क्षेत्रज्ञ-तत्त्व
अज्जन्येतानि यज्ञस्य यज्ञो मूलमिति श्रुति: । आज्येन पयसा दध्ना शकृता5$मिक्षया त्वचा
ajyajanyetāni yajñasya yajño mūlam iti śrutiḥ | ājyena payasā dadhnā śakṛtā'mikṣayā tvacā |
Kapila berkata: bahan-bahan yang lahir dari sapi adalah anggota-anggota kerja yajña; dan menurut Śruti, yajña sendiri merupakan penopang dasar bagi keteguhan tatanan dunia. Dengan ghee, susu, dadih, kotoran sapi, olahan susu yang disebut āmikṣā, bahkan kulitnya, sapi menjadi sarana terlaksananya kewajiban-kewajiban ritual. Karena itu, tiap bahan yang ditetapkan hendaknya dikumpulkan dan dipergunakan tepat menurut aturan suci.
कपिल उवाच
Kapila teaches that yajña, grounded in śruti, is a sustaining principle for worldly order, and that the cow’s products are legitimate, prescribed means for fulfilling ritual duty; one should procure and use them according to scriptural injunction.
