Adhyāya 249 — Mṛtyu-prādurbhāvaḥ (The Manifestation of Death) / Restraint of Tejas and Ordered Saṃhāra
गोचरेभ्यो निवृत्तानि यदा स्थास्यन्ति वेश्मनि । तदा त्वमात्मना55त्मानं पर द्रक्ष्यसि शाश्वतम्
gocarebhyo nivṛttāni yadā sthāsyanti veśmani | tadā tvam ātmanātmānaṃ paraṃ drakṣyasi śāśvatam ||
Ketika indria-indria menarik diri dari objek-objeknya dan berdiam di tempatnya sendiri, saat itulah engkau—melalui dirimu yang terdalam—akan memandang Yang Mahatinggi, Yang Kekal.
