यत्रादद: सहस्राणि अयुतानां गवां दश । अनन्तरं सहस्रेण तदा55सीद्‌ दैत्य का मति:

Transliteration

śakra uvāca | yatrādadaḥ sahasrāṇi ayutānāṃ gavāṃ daśa | anantaraṃ sahasreṇa tadā āsīd daitya kā matiḥ ||

Translation

Śakra berkata: “Ketika engkau, berulang-ulang, memberikan ribuan dana—setiap dana berisi sepuluh ayuta sapi—lalu sesudah itu pun masih berlanjut dalam ribuan demi ribuan, wahai Daitya, bagaimana keadaan batinmu saat itu? Pikiran apa yang timbul dalam dirimu ketika melakukan pemberian yajña sebesar itu?”
