प्रकाशं भगवानेतदृषिर्नातयणो5मृतम् । भूतानामनुकम्पार्थ जगाद जगतो गति:,संसारको शरण देनेवाले ऋषिश्रेष्ठ भगवान् नारायणने जीवोंपर दया करनेके लिये ही इस अमृतमय ज्ञानको प्रकाशित किया
prakāśaṃ bhagavān etad ṛṣir nārāyaṇo 'mṛtam | bhūtānām anukampārthaṃ jagāda jagato gatiḥ ||
Sang resi mulia, Bhagavān Nārāyaṇa—tumpuan dunia dan penuntun jalannya—menyatakan ajaran yang abadi ini demi belas kasih kepada semua makhluk.
