The Dialogue of Indra and Bali on Fortune, Humility, and Restraint
ततस्तमुपसर्पन्ति गुणा राजसतामसा: । सात्त्विका वा यथायोगमानन्तर्यफलोदयम्,उस स्वप्नरका दर्शन होते ही सात्विक, राजस अथवा तामस गुण यथायोग्य सुख- दुःखरूप फलका अनुभव करानेके लिये उसके पास आ पहुँचते हैं
tatastam upasarpanti guṇā rājasatāmasāḥ | sāttvikā vā yathāyogam ānantarya-phalodayam ||
Bhishma berkata: Setelah itu, begitu mimpi tampak, guṇa—sattva, rajas, dan tamas—mendekat kepada orang itu sesuai kecenderungannya, dan segera menampakkan hasilnya masing-masing, yang dialami sebagai kebahagiaan atau penderitaan.
