अध्याय २०८ — इन्द्रियनिग्रहः, सत्याहिंसात्मकवाक्, कर्मफलविवेकः
Restraint of the Senses, Non-harming Truthful Speech, and Discernment of Karmic Consequence
अर्यमा चैव भगवान् ये चास्य तनया विभो । एते प्रदेशा: कथिता भुवनानां प्रभावना:,प्रभो! भगवान् अर्यमा और उनके सभी पुत्र--ये प्रदेश (आदेश देनेवाले शासक) तथा प्रभावन (उत्तम स्रष्टा) कहे गये हैं
aryamā caiva bhagavān ye cāsya tanayā vibho | ete pradeśāḥ kathitā bhuvanānāṃ prabhāvanāḥ prabho ||
Bhishma berkata: “Aryaman, dewa yang mulia, dan semua putra-putranya—wahai yang perkasa—dinyatakan sebagai ‘pradeśa’, para penguasa berwenang, dan sebagai ‘prabhāvana’, para penguat serta penopang dunia-dunia.”
