जापकार्थमयं यत्नो यदर्थ वयमागता: । कृतपूजाविमौ तुल्यौ त्वया तुल्यफलाविमौ,“इस जापक ब्राह्मणको सदगति देनेके लिये ही आपने ऐसा उद्योग किया था। इसीको देखनेके लिये हमलोग भी आये थे। आपने इन दोनोंका समानरूपसे आदर किया और ये दोनों ही एक-सी स्थितिमें पहुँचकर आपके समान फलके भागी हुए हैं
jāpākārtham ayaṁ yatno yadartha vayaṁ āgatāḥ | kṛtapūjāv imau tulyau tvayā tulyaphalāv imau ||
“Upaya ini Engkau lakukan demi menganugerahkan jalan mulia kepada brahmana pelaku japa itu; dan itulah yang kami datang saksikan. Engkau memuliakan keduanya dengan penghormatan yang sama; maka keduanya mencapai keadaan yang sama dan berhak atas buah yang setara dengan milik-Mu.”
